- Student will create a unique piece of artwork
- Student will develop fine motor skills

- Candidate helps children experience sympathy/empathy and respect for others
- a) Helps children understand their feelings and the feelings of others
Materials:
- cork pieces (cut into circles)
- variety of beads
- googly eyes
- shells
- glue
- string
- A variety of books that show faces and accompanying emotions
Procedure:
- Set out the materials in an appropriate area for creating.
- Invite students to create a face using the materials.
- While they are creating, ask the student what emotion their face has.
Assessment:
- Observe and record the child’s ability to identify and name different feelings/emotions.
